The Porto Sant’Elpidio Palasport (Porto Sant’Elpidio Indoor Sports Complex) will be home to the 24th edition of the “TRE TORRI” International Judo Competition on Sunday 7th and 8th of June.

The competition, conceived and wished for by Master Corrado Croceri, is therefore about to celebrate its silver anniversary, and for a quarter of a century has been at the forefront of judo throughout the world, being able to count on all important countries in this sport among its participants (Japan, France; USSR then Russia, Brazil, Cuba above all ) and including in its all-time greats roll quite a considerable number of champion athletes, among whom is almost every Italian Olympic Games’ medallist as well as those medal winners in all the major championship and continental meets.

Whoever has had experience in organising commitments, knows just how having to face up to and overcome difficulties and hurdles, year in year out, is strenuous: Corrado Croceri and his co-workers have always managed to do it.

This is the best recognition of all their work, together with the sincere wish for great success in this, the 24th edition of the TRE TORRI, which will be disputed exactly two months before the Beijing Olympic Competition. For this reason, too, does the Porto Sant’Elpidio competition take on an “added value” that will add still further to the already excellent degree of quality.
